About Dr. Oglesby
Dr. Takia Oglesby is a distinguished medical professional, holding board-certifications in anesthesia and pain management since 2009 from the American Board of Anesthesiology.
He attended Clark Atlanta University from 1993 to 1998, earning his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Master of Science in Polymer/Organic Chemistry. He continued his academic journey by pursuing his Doctor of Medicine degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, graduating in 2004.
He completed his four-year anesthesia residency at Washington University in Missouri from 2005 to 2008. His final educational year was spent at Duke University as a Pain Management Fellow, where he honed his skills in outpatient interventional pain management. This training provided him with expertise in procedural intervention and comprehensive spine and pain management.
Dr. Oglesby became a partner at The NEXus Pain Center in 2009. He played a vital role in the establishment of the North Columbus Surgery Center in 2012, solidifying his role as an essential contributor to the center’s renowned reputation for excellence in pain management.
