About Dr. Chang
As the medical director at The Nexus Pain Center in Columbus, LaGrange, Fayetteville, McDonough, and Newnan Georgia, Dr. Sung K. Chang offers his patients innovative medical solutions and cutting-edge technologies.
Dr. Chang graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 1994, a Master of Science in Microbiology in 1996, and a Doctor of Medicine in 2000.
Before joining the staff at The Nexus Pain Center, Dr. Chang spent time at Emory University completing an internship with the Department of Medicine in 2001, as well as his residency in 2004, and a fellowship in 2005, with the Department of Anesthesiology.
Following the completion of his education, he worked at four pain clinics and was part of an anesthesiology practice.
In addition to his innovative work at The Nexus Pain Center, Dr. Chang is an accomplished presenter and author on several anesthesiology and pain management topics. He has been the medical director at North Columbus Surgery Center since 2011.
